• There are 4 drive accessory belts included in this kit because this vehicle was supplied with different air conditioning compressors. The shorter rib belt is the alternator belt, the v belt is the power steering belt, the 4pk790 belt is used on applications with a sanden compressor and the 4pk875 belt is used on application with a matsushita compressor. You will end up with a extra belt.

The drive belts are Bando and Conti-tech . The timing belt is Conti-tech, the water pump is NPW or Aisin of Japan and the tensioner is GMB. This kit will service Honda Civic's DX and LX models with 1.5L engines with a year range of 1988-1991. Services years: 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991.

Honda recommends replacement every 90,000 mile or 72 months whichever occurs first.  Labor hours for a professional trained mechanic should be about 3 hours
